According to Namecheap’s report the top 20 registered gTLDs of the year 2020 are: .com, .xyz, .club, .site, .net, .info, .online, .org, .live, .icu. Further, domain names: .website, .vip, .store, .shop, .work, .casa, .dev, .space, .cam, and .app were trending last year.
Over the years the first choice of most people who register for the first time was .com. But now the domain registration trend is changing and the .com registration trend is continuously decreasing.
2019 vs. 2020 Top gTLDs Trends
